We are supporting a well-established organisation in their search for a Qualified Assistant Company Secretary to join the team on a 3–6 month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a listed, in-house environment who enjoys a varied role covering board support, statutory compliance and share scheme administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end meeting and committee support, including agenda management, paper coordination, minute-taking and action tracking.
  • Support subsidiary governance, maintaining statutory records and completing Companies House filings.
  • Assist with stock exchange and regulatory announcements, including routine disclosures.
  • Contribute to the administration of employee share schemes, working with internal teams and external providers.
  • Support wider corporate governance activities, including annual reporting, AGM processes and policy maintenance.
  • Partner with the Company Secretary on ad hoc governance and corporate projects.
