Conveyancing Fee Earner – Residential Property – Fully Remote
A highly regarded and well-established conveyancing practice is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join its expanding residential property team. This fully remote position offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor, licensed conveyancer, or experienced conveyancer to manage their own caseload while delivering a first-class service within a supportive and professional environment.
The Role
You will take full responsibility for a busy caseload of residential property matters, handling transactions from instruction through to post-completion. This includes freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. You’ll liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other legal professionals to ensure the seamless progression of each matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full range of residential conveyancing files from start to finish
- Carry out title checks, review contracts, and interpret search results
- Draft and finalise key legal documents including contracts and transfer deeds
- Communicate professionally with all parties involved to keep transactions moving efficiently
- Handle all key stages of the conveyancing process, including exchange, completion, and registration
- Ensure all legal and compliance standards are met throughout
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or highly experienced Conveyancer
- Proven experience managing a high-volume caseload of residential property transactions
- Strong knowledge of UK property law and conveyancing best practice
- Proficiency with Land Registry applications and online search systems
- Membership or accreditation with bodies such as the Law Society or CLC (desirable)
