I am keen to speak with Contentious Probate Solicitors (3+ years’ PQE) who are looking to progress their careers within a nationally recognised, specialist-only contentious probate practice.

This firm is entirely focused on contentious wills, trusts and estates. There is no general private client work, allowing lawyers to immerse themselves fully in their specialism and develop real depth of expertise in this complex and increasingly high-demand area.

The team is made up exclusively of specialists and is well known for combining technical excellence with a compassionate, pragmatic and client-focused approach.

The role

The team is now looking to recruit an experienced Contentious Probate Solicitor to join its established and growing group of specialists.

Significant, hands-on experience in contentious probate is essential. This must be more than occasional exposure β€” the successful candidate will have spent at least three years fully immersed in contentious probate work and will be comfortable managing a busy caseload with minimal supervision.

You will work on a broad range of high-quality matters, including:

  • Will and inheritance disputes
  • Claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act
  • Trust and estate disputes
  • Capacity and validity challenges
  • Executor and trustee disputes
