We are currently working with a highly respected IP firm seeking a talented Engineering Patent Attorney to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified attorney looking to develop a broad patent practice while benefiting from a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role

You will work closely with experienced attorneys on a variety of patent matters within the engineering and technology sectors. The role offers exposure to drafting, prosecution, and client advisory work, allowing you to further develop your technical expertise and legal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting and prosecuting patent applications across engineering disciplines
  • Conducting patentability, freedom-to‑operate, and validity assessments
  • Advising clients on IP strategy and portfolio management
  • Collaborating with colleagues on complex projects and cross‑border work

Requirements

  • Part-qualified (UK or European) or newly qualified patent attorney
  • Strong technical background in engineering, electronics, or related fields
