Job Opportunity: Solicitor – Employment (NQ–5 PQE)

Location: Glasgow

Overview:

A Glasgow firm is seeking a Solicitor to join its Employment team. You’ll manage a varied caseload of mainly contentious matters for both claimant and respondent clients, working within a supportive, modern and well‑regarded practice.

Role Requirements:

  • Managing an employment law caseload
  • Advising on a range of contentious matters
  • Drafting documents and progressing cases efficiently
  • Staying updated on legal developments
  • Working collaboratively on more complex issues
  • Building positive relationships with clients

Experience:

  • Qualified Solicitor with NQ–5 PQE in employment law
  • Experience in contentious work is helpful
  • Able to handle files with supervision as required

Skills:

  • Clear communicator and confident with clients
  • Good organisational and time‑management abilities
  • Effective researcher and comfortable with digital tools
  • Team‑focused, proactive and commercially aware
