Company Secretarial Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading London professional services firm for an experienced governance professional to join its growing team. The role offers the opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of predominantly listed clients, while contributing to team development and strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n

    \n
  • Manage a portfolio of listed and private company clients.
  • \n

  • Lead Board and Committee meeting cycles, including agendas, papers and minutes.
  • \n

  • Support AGMs and other general meetings.
  • \n

  • Advise clients on corporate governance, statutory compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • \n

  • Provide guidance on MAR, RNS announcements and governance disclosures.
  • \n

  • Oversee statutory registers and corporate records.
  • \n

  • Support annual reports, IPO preparation, M&A and other corporate projects.
  • \n

  • Develop junior colleagues and contribute to business development activities.
  • \n

Key Skills

\n

\n

    \n
  • CGI-qualified, qualified lawyer or chartered accountant.
  • \n

  • At least 4 years' relevant company secretarial experience, including 3+ years with listed companies.
  • \n

  • Strong Board and Committee support experience.
  • \n

  • Good knowledge of corporate governance, MAR and statutory compliance.
  • \n

  • Diligent Entities experience.
  • \n

  • Excellent communication, organisation and client management skills.
  • \n

  • Professional services experience is advantageous.
  • \n

Hybrid Working

\n

\n

The role operates on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the London office. Some UK travel for client meetings may also be required.
