I am currently working on a genuinely different Real Estate opportunity with a leading International, Top25 Law firm. This is a newly created role within a high performing Transactional Real Estate team, designed specifically for a 4/5+ PQE lawyer who is open to stepping away from a purely generalist model and into something more client aligned and relationship focused.
This position sits within a large, nationally recognised Real Estate group but is uniquely aligned to a small number of key UK clients. Acting as a core member of key client account teams:
- Advising on a broad range of commercial property work including landlord and tenant, property management, acquisitions and disposals, development and regeneration, and corporate support.
- Building long term client relationships through commercially focused, solutions driven advice.
You would be joining a substantial and well regarded Real Estate group of nearly 200 lawyers nationally. The Leeds based Transactional Real Estate team is particularly strong, with over 40 fee earners and a highly respected partner group. The team is consistently recognised in the top tier of the legal directories and has won multiple regional property and legal awards in recent years.
There is a strong emphasis on transactional excellence, commerciality and innovation, with active use of legal tech and collaboration with specialist innovation teams.
Work Life Balance and Flexibility: It offers greater certainty and flexibility around hours compared to many traditional transactional real estate roles. The position only requires travel to Leeds around twice per month.
Requirements:
- Be a UK qualified solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in commercial real estate.
- Have strong technical grounding across core transactional property matters.
- Have a genuine interest in understanding clients’ businesses and commercial drivers.
The culture is collegiate and ambitious, with significant investment in training, mentoring and long term career progression.
If you are a 5+ PQE Real Estate lawyer in Leeds or open to remote working, and you are curious about a more client focused and strategically aligned role, I would be happy to have a confidential conversation.
