A leading UK law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its dynamic private client team. This team provides high-calibre private client legal services to individuals and families across the UK, including cross-border work spanning England, Scotland and other jurisdictions. The practice is recognised for its depth of technical expertise in:
- Wills and estate planning
- Trusts and wealth structures
- Succession and tax planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Cross-border personal legal matters and international tax considerations
The team is well-established, with a supportive structure that includes solicitors, associates, trainees and partners across multiple offices. It has a reputation for handling technically challenging matters and advising on complex client situations.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a personable and commercially aware Private Client Solicitor who:
- Holds qualification in England or dual qualification (England & Scotland)
- Has 4+ yearsβ post-qualification experience (PQE) in private client work
- Enjoys complex trusts and tax planning work, including cross-jurisdictional matters
- Is motivated to build strong client relationships and contribute to business development
This is a flexible role that supports remote working, with the expectation that you will attend a Northern office as agreed (e.g. circa once per month). The team works with clients throughout the UK, including in the North West/Manchester, North East, Cornwall, Leeds and Scotland.
