An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Construction Solicitor to join a highly regarded and growing Construction team based in Manchester city centre. The team advises on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious construction matters across a variety of sectors and offers exposure to high-quality work alongside experienced and well-respected construction lawyers. This opportunity is open to newly qualified solicitors and upwards, making it an excellent move for someone looking to build and develop their career within a supportive and ambitious environment.

The Role

  • You will work on a varied caseload of construction and engineering matters including:
    • Non-contentious construction work
    • Contentious construction disputes
    • Drafting and negotiating construction documentation
    • Advising on standard form building contracts
    • Supporting clients across a range of development and engineering projects

You will work closely with senior lawyers and partners while also being encouraged to develop your own client relationships and wider network across the firm.

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
  • Newly Qualified and upwards
  • Experience in construction law, either contentious, non-contentious or a mix of both
  • Strong drafting and communication skills
  • Commercially minded with a practical approach to client advice
  • Organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ambitious and keen to develop your career within construction law
