A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary/Administrator to join its busy Corporate team based in a friendly central Brighton office. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
The Role:
You will provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to a senior Partner in Brighton, while also assisting the wider fee-earning team in London. Responsibilities will include:
- Managing monthly billing and financial administration
- General file management and document preparation
- Audio typing and drafting correspondence
- Supporting case management processes
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience as a legal secretary, ideally within corporate or commercial law (other legal areas considered)
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Fast, accurate typing skills, including audio typing
- Experience with legal billing and case management systems
- Excellent administrative and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Professional, confident approach with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Flexible, adaptable and eager to develop within a dynamic team
