Your Role
In this role you will support a Senior Director with their Multi-Track caseload of Clinical Negligence (and some high value Personal Injury) matters.
You will:
- Take initial instructions from clients and prepare & draft witness statements
- Prepare draft letters of claim
- Diarise and ensure compliance with court timetables
- Liaise with experts, counsel & clients
- Attend conferences with counsel in person and on the phone
- Researching quantum and other issues as required
- Prepare court documents including claim forms, schedules of loss, particulars of claim, lists of documents etc
- Instruct & brief counsel
What We’re Looking For
- At least 4 years’ experience handling clinical negligence & personal injury matters
- You will already be a Grade B Fee Earner
- CLINICAL NEGLIGENCE EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL
- 4 years + Litigation experience & knowledge of CPR procedures
- Understanding of the MoJ Portal is desirable, but not essential
- Solicitor or Legal Executive qualifications are a plus but not essential
