Private Client Solicitor/Legal Executive/Experienced Fee Earner – Cannock 

Legal 500 Firm | Expanding Department | Career Development Opportunities

A well-established Legal 500 law firm is seeking to expand its Private Client team and welcomes applications from experienced legal professionals to join the team at its Cannock office.

The Firm

This opportunity arises as part of the firm's ongoing expansion following the successful acquisition of the Cannock office. The private client team continues to attract both repeat and new business, creating a strong demand for experienced fee earners.

The Team

The wider Private Client team operates across three offices and is led by a highly experienced Partner. The Cannock-based team currently includes two solicitors plus dedicated support staff, offering a collaborative and well-structured working environment.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload independently, covering a broad range of private client matters, including:

  • Drafting Wills and preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
  • Handling small to medium non-taxable estates
  • Providing expert advice on estate planning, trusts and asset protection
  • Progressing into more complex matters involving taxable estates and trusts
  • Working closely with a knowledgeable and approachable team

About You

Applications are welcomed from candidates with:

  • At least 5 years' experience in Wills, Tax and Probate
  • Qualified status as a Solicitor, Legal Executive, or a highly experienced non-qualified fee earner
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision
  • Strong technical knowledge and a client-focused approach
  • A team-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills
