A successful national law firm with offices nationwide is looking for an experienced Criminal Duty Solicitor to join its expanding team. The firm is a progressive, forward-thinking employer, offering flexibility and a progressive pathway to excel your career to the next level. The team provides high-quality legal advice and services in various private and legally aided disciplines, including Criminal Defence. Responsibilities for this position will include:  Develop and handle a caseload of crime work, including representation at the Police Station and Crown Court Participate in the out-of-hours rota for Police Station attendance Actively develop and maintain local and regional networks to attract and secure new business Provide high-quality client care and maintain professionalism and integrity at all times Build and maintain relationships with clients, professionals and third parties What we are looking for: Ability to run your own caseload autonomously Competence in marketing and building a caseload Strong advocacy skills with the ability and willingness to conduct own advocacy Procedural and technical competence in criminal law Ability to work to short deadlines, under pressure, and to financial targets High level of accuracy and attention to detail PC literate with proficiency in Word, Excel a…
