A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a childcare legal assistant to join a reputable firm in Shropshire to be based in its office just outside of Telford. This is a full-time, permanent position but there can be flexibility on working hours.
The Firm
Our client is a longstanding Shropshire-based law firm with multiple offices. It is now seeking a Childcare Legal Assistant to join its strong and reputable childcare team, providing support and growing within the department.
The Role
This is a childcare legal assistant role which will, in time, progress to a paralegal type of role. The role will entail:
- Organising appointments
- Diarising orders
- Lodging documents with the court
- Attending court hearings
- Corresponding with clients and third parties
- Any other administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of a solicitor’s caseload
About You
Our client is seeking a Law/LPC graduate with experience in providing administrative support within a family department. Experience of childcare law is essential to this position along with organisational skills, the ability to work in a busy and demanding environment and to tight deadlines.
