An established claimant personal injury firm is looking to appoint an experienced Associate (Grade A) to join its Serious Injury team.
This is a senior opportunity for a serious injury specialist who wants to handle complex, high value RTA claims while having the support and autonomy to focus on achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
You’ll manage a specialist caseload covering complex liability, quantum, rehabilitation, interim payments and settlement strategy. You’ll also work closely with clients, families, counsel and medical experts, while providing guidance and support to more junior members of the team.
The role
- Manage complex serious injury claims from initial instruction through to resolution
- Lead on liability, quantum, rehabilitation and settlement strategy
- Work closely with clients, families, counsel and medical experts
- Supervise and mentor junior fee earners and paralegals
- Contribute to the continued development of the Serious Injury team
- Maintain high standards of technical work and client care
About you
You’ll typically have 8+ years’ PQE, or equivalent senior level experience, with a strong background in serious injury work.
You’ll have experience handling complex claims involving liability and quantum, alongside strong knowledge of litigation and court procedure. Excellent client care, sound judgement and the ability to support and mentor junior colleagues are also important.
