Litigation Solicitor – Tamworth
An established and growing law firm is seeking a Civil & Commercial Litigation Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with 1–5 years’ PQE to join its litigation team.
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters, providing commercially focused legal advice and delivering a high standard of client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters
- Provide clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice
- Undertake legal research and remain up to date with relevant law and Court procedures
- Draft legal correspondence and documentation
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Progress cases efficiently, cost-effectively and in line with Firm procedures
- Meet annual fee-earning and billing targets
- Develop new business opportunities and cross-sell services where appropriate
- Maintain high professional and client service standards
Candidate Requirements
The ideal Civil & Commercial Litigation Solicitor/CILEX Lawyer will have:
- Qualification as a Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer
- 1–5 years’ PQE
- Experience in civil and/or commercial litigation
- Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong commercial awareness and client relationship skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- The ability to manage competing deadlines and work effectively under pressure
- Proficiency with legal case management systems and Microsoft Office
- A proactive, commercially minded and client-focused approach
- Flexibility regarding working hours where required
