Job Opportunity: Senior Associate / Legal Director - Insolvency Restructuring (7+ PQE) Location: Glasgow Overview: A commercial law practice is seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Legal Director to lead on non-contentious restructuring work within its established Insolvency Restructuring team. This senior role involves advising lenders, corporates and insolvency practitioners on complex domestic and cross-border mandates, while supporting the strategic growth of the practice. Role Requirements: - Leading non-contentious restructuring matters, including refinancings, group reorganisations, debt restructuring and business/asset sales - Advising stakeholders on risk, strategy and restructuring options - Drafting and negotiating detailed transactional documentation - Managing multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating input across banking, corporate, real estate, tax and employment - Developing client relationships and identifying growth opportunities - Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers as part of team development Experience: - 7+ years' PQE in non-contentious restructuring and insolvency - Experience handling complex, high-value transactions - Confident advising lenders, borrowers and insolvency practitioners - Background in supervising junior colleagues and leading client workstreams - Skilled in ...
