Costs Lawyer – Leeds/Remote An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Costs Lawyer, Solicitor or equivalent legal professional to join a leading, international law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical costs experience to manage a varied and complex caseload while working within an established and supportive specialist team. The role offers hybrid working and high levels of flexibility with only 1 day a month in the office required. As a Senior Costs Lawyer/Costs Lawyer, you will manage your own caseload of predominantly Defendant costs matters, ensuring files are progressed efficiently and to a high standard in line with client service level agreements. Key Responsibilities Manage a varied caseload of Defendant and/or Claimant costs matters Handle all aspects of costs case management from instruction through to conclusion Draft Points of Dispute and Replies Prepare Bills of Costs and Schedules of Costs Negotiate costs offers and settlements Advise on all aspects of third-party costs claims Prepare costs budgets and Budget Discussion Reports Handle high-value and complex costs matters Attend interim applications, Costs and Case Management Hearings and Detailed Assessment Hearings where required Ensure management in...
