What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing residential transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Handling freehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers and new builds
  • Delivering a personal and responsive service to clients
  • Working closely with estate agents, lenders and other professionals
  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the Peterlee office
  • Developing relationships with local agents and helping grow the operation
  • Supporting junior colleagues and taking on leadership responsibility

You will be:

  • An experienced Residential Conveyancer who can run a caseload independently
  • Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX qualification preferred, although strong unqualified conveyancers will be considered
  • Excellent technical, organisational and client-care skills
  • Someone committed, approachable and comfortable working within a close-knit team
  • An outgoing, hands-on person who can build local professional relationships
  • Leadership or supervisory experience would be advantageous but is not essential
