About the Role

Working closely with Senior Fee Earners, you'll provide hands-on support across a busy and varied caseload, assisting both residential conveyancing and new build property teams. This is a highly client-focused position, suited to someone who takes pride in delivering a professional, friendly and efficient service while managing a high volume of transactions.

You will play a key role throughout the conveyancing process, supporting matters from instruction through to completion. This role is ideal for someone with at least 6-12 months' experience in a similar conveyancing support position who is ready to take on more responsibility and build a long-term career in property law.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 6-12 months' experience in a Conveyancing Assistant or legal support role
  • Experience handling residential property transactions, including sales and purchases (new build experience advantageous)
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Confident and professional communication skills with a client-focused approach

Please note applications without relevant conveyancing experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Opening new client files and inputting instructions into the case management system
  • Drafting routine legal documentation and preparing client correspondence
  • Updating case management systems in line with team procedures
  • Issuing contracts on sale files and assisting with replies to enquiries
  • Ordering property searches
  • Assisting with exchanges and handling related documentation
  • Preparing files for completion, including issuing mortgage reports to clients
  • Managing incoming post and handling telephone enquiries where appropriate
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date file records
  • Supporting general administrative duties including filing, billing, archiving and document management
