A well-established and growing Yorkshire law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its friendly and close-knit team in Harrogate, with a strong local presence and exciting expansion plans.

The Opportunity

You’ll be joining an experienced and supportive conveyancing team, playing a key role in both handling a busy caseload and strengthening relationships with local estate agents and mortgage brokers. The firm places real emphasis on collaboration, client care and long-term growth—making it an excellent environment for someone looking to progress their career.

The Role

  • Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
  • Handling a wide range of transactions including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, leasehold and freehold matters, shared ownership and staircasing
  • Working closely with a dedicated conveyancing assistant who will support you on a 1-1 basis
  • Using a case management system to ensure efficient handling of files and compliance
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and local referrers
  • Supporting the development of junior team members

About You

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in residential conveyancing
  • Proven ability to independently manage a varied caseload (typically 60–100 files)
  • Strong client care skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • High attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable using case management systems (e.g. Proclaim, Redbrick, Quill or similar)
  • A team player with the confidence to work independently when required
  • Ideally based locally, with a full clean driving licence preferred
