A well regarded and growing regional law firm in Barnsley is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join its established property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Solicitor with 4+ years' PQE to take on a broad and high quality caseload while working within a supportive and ambitious firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle sales and purchases of commercial premises
- Advise on agricultural land transactions
- Deal with the sale and acquisition of registered and unregistered land
- Handle commercial landlord and tenant matters
- Draft and negotiate commercial leases
- Manage transactions from initial instruction through to completion
- Build strong relationships with clients and other professional advisers
- Provide clear and commercially focused legal advice
Requirements
- 4+ years' PQE in Commercial Property
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial property law
- Experience handling a broad range of commercial property transactions
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Commercially minded and client focused approach
- Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to commute to the Barnsley office
