Our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Banbury, is looking to recruit a Senior Residential Conveyancer to join its thriving Property Department. The Role

You will manage your own varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion while supporting the leadership of a busy and successful department.

Your work will include:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • New build property transactions
  • Shared ownership matters
  • Transfers of equity
  • Remortgages
  • Equity release transactions
  • First registrations
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, brokers and lenders
  • Supervising and mentoring junior fee earners and support staff
  • Assisting with compliance, CQS and Lexcel requirements
  • Supporting business development, networking and departmental growth

About You

To be successful, you will ideally have:

  • 5+ years' PQE as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX)
  • Strong experience managing a full residential conveyancing caseload independently
  • Excellent technical knowledge of residential property law
  • Previous supervisory, mentoring or team leadership experience (desirable)
  • Strong client care and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness with a proactive approach to business development
  • Good understanding of AML, SRA, CQS and regulatory compliance
