Our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Banbury, is looking to recruit a Senior Residential Conveyancer to join its thriving Property Department. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a quality caseload while playing a key role in mentoring colleagues, supporting the Head of Department and contributing to the continued growth of a successful conveyancing team.

The Role
You will manage your own varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion while supporting the leadership of a busy and successful department.
Your work will include:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- New build property transactions
- Shared ownership matters
- Transfers of equity
- Remortgages
- Equity release transactions
- First registrations
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, brokers and lenders
- Supervising and mentoring junior fee earners and support staff
- Assisting with compliance, CQS and Lexcel requirements
- Supporting business development, networking and departmental growth
About You
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- 5+ years' PQE as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX)
- Strong experience managing a full residential conveyancing caseload independently
- Excellent technical knowledge of residential property law
- Previous supervisory, mentoring or team leadership experience (desirable)
- Strong client care and communication skills
- Commercial awareness with a proactive approach to business development
- Good understanding of AML, SRA, CQS and regulatory compliance
