This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Director or CFO to join a leadership team at a pivotal stage of growth. Having established a strong market position and developed a scalable SaaS platform, the business is now focused on accelerating growth, strengthening governance, and building long-term value.
Working closely with the Managing Director, Board, and senior leadership team, the successful candidate will provide strategic financial leadership, commercial insight, and governance support. This is not a traditional finance role. The appointment will play a key role in shaping business strategy, improving decision-making, supporting growth initiatives, and helping prepare the organisation for future strategic opportunities. Key Responsibilities- Act as a trusted adviser to the Managing Director and Board on business performance, growth strategy, investment decisions, and risk.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and long-term modelling activities.
- Develop meaningful management information, KPI reporting, and commercial insight to support decision-making.
- Strengthen financial controls, governance frameworks, and reporting processes.
- Support pricing strategy, profitability analysis, investment appraisal, and commercial decision-making.
- Maintain oversight of cashflow management, working capital, and financial performance.
- Support future fundraising, financing, acquisitions, and strategic transaction activity where appropriate.
- Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, reporting, and operational processes.
