A growing engineering team is looking for a skilled Automation Panel Electrician to build, wire, and test high-quality control panels for a range of industrial automation projects. Key Responsibilities- Assemble and wire automation control panels from engineering drawings and schematics
- Integration of equipment and field wiring
- Install components such as PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, relays, power supplies, and safety devices
- Carry out panel testing, fault-finding, and quality checks before dispatch
- Support installation and commissioning activities on customer sites when required
- Ensure all work meets electrical standards and internal quality procedures
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve design or wiring issues
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
- Proven experience as a panel wirer, automation electrician, or similar role
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Knowledge of industrial control systems and automation components
- Competent in cable routing, termination, panel layout and machine wiring
- Understanding of relevant electrical regulations and safety practices
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
