A growing engineering team is looking for a skilled Automation Panel Electrician to build, wire, and test high-quality control panels for a range of industrial automation projects. Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and wire automation control panels from engineering drawings and schematics
  • Integration of equipment and field wiring
  • Install components such as PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, relays, power supplies, and safety devices
  • Carry out panel testing, fault-finding, and quality checks before dispatch
  • Support installation and commissioning activities on customer sites when required
  • Ensure all work meets electrical standards and internal quality procedures
  • Collaborate with engineers to resolve design or wiring issues
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a panel wirer, automation electrician, or similar role
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Knowledge of industrial control systems and automation components
  • Competent in cable routing, termination, panel layout and machine wiring
  • Understanding of relevant electrical regulations and safety practices
  • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
