G Touring is the touring division of Bruce Poon Tip's group of companies, which also include G Adventures and Tru Travels. Our mission is to change lives through travel and we do that through our Cares programmes that run alongside our not-for-profit partner, the Planeterra Foundation to ensure that the communities we visit benefit from tourism.

Location: This role is based in our office in Market Harborough.

Working Hours: Full-time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week 09:00 am-17:15 pm Monday to Friday with 45 minute lunch break.

Purpose of the role: To innovate, create and contract quality holidays for our customers which are aligned to our brand pillars taking the product through from conception to launch and ensuring planned volumes, growth, revenue, and margin targets are achieved across all brands.

In this role you will:

  • Develop and source new innovative product that stands out from the competition and meets our customers aspirations.
  • Manage the implementation of a new product from conception to launch.
  • Source suppliers and agents with integrity and who demonstrate our business values in the way they go about their business.
  • Ensure Health and Safety standards have been met and are maintained.
  • Use customer feedback to develop and improve the product and manage the relationships with suppliers to ensure quality is not compromised.
  • Deliver inspirational and accurate brochures and web content.
  • Negotiate and contract with suppliers to ensure holidays are commercially viable whilst not compromising on quality for our customers.
  • Deliver planned revenue and margins by carrying out extensive competitor analysis, ongoing cost reviews and regular itinerary reviews.
  • Plan and deliver the capacity plan across the brands.
  • Analyse sales, working with yield, and marketing to identify and react to commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and record accurate documentation within agreed timescales, including tour set-up forms, tour schedules and contracts.
  • Work cross functionally across a dynamic organisation, maximising, and building strong working relationships built on trust and integrity.

Must speak Italian. Other languages are advantageous.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be passionate about travel and have a desire to delight the customer by developing memorable holidays.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years' experience in product management, ideally within a travel or leisure business.
  • Be creative, innovative and able to seek out new, exciting commercial opportunities.
  • Negotiate, contract and achieve business targets for margin and net promoter scores.
  • Communicate effectively, getting the best out of others, and driving outstanding service for the customer.
  • Be diligent in your approach to work and demonstrate tenacity and determination.
  • Analyse and interpret management information such as sales, margins, and market data to ensure commercial viability of the product.
  • Show flexibility and the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Travel overseas.
