Business Analyst
Purpose of the role:
The primary focus of this role is to define system enhancements via in-depth investigation, gathering and documenting business requirements and use cases, to deliver the best solution, on time. Working closely with GT Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEâs) and GTC Technology to execute the G Touring Strategy and objectives to ensure success.
Working Hours
Full-time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week 09:00 am â 17:15 pm Monday to Friday with 45 minute lunch break. This is a hybrid role based in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
In this role you will:
- Consult with stakeholders to scope business requirements, which include easy to understand user stories that will enable Technology Engineering Managers to define technical solutions.
- Create comprehensive documentation, diagrams, and process flows to facilitate clear communication and understanding across all stakeholders.
- Engage with Technology Engineering Managers and Third Party Suppliers to effectively collaborate to create and deliver solutions.
- Validate that proposed solutions meet all business requirements to ensure completeness.
- Assist in defining UAT testing strategies & scripts, as well as managing the execution.
- Work closely with the GT Technology & Project Delivery Director to ensure best practice in alignment with GTC technology and project management structure.

- Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Slack, Microsoft O365 & Google Suite.
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst, would be an advantage but not essential.
- Experience using process mapping tools such as Lucidchart, would be an advantage.
