GTEM is an award-winning innovative company supplying parts for the automotive industry, we have full inhouse tool manufacturing capabilities, due to continued growth and expansion of GTEM we have a great opportunity available and are looking for a press tooling engineer. You will be part of a team repairing, maintaining and improving the tooling performance.
Role Responsibilities
Maintenance and repair of press tooling (transfer and progression)
Identifying and carrying out modification to press tools where necessary
Assisting production teams to achieve production targets by supporting with tooling development
Carrying out preventative maintenance
Skills
3 years in a manufacturing setting preferably working with stamping or injection molding tooling
Excellent problem solver with the ability to meet production deadlines
Fully competent on conventional machines including Mills, Lathes and Grinders
Person Profile
The person should be able to work as a team and independently
Ability to work to deadlines and targets
Excellent communication at all levels
Driven to succeed in an expanding company
Compensation
Hours of work- 37.5 per week
Salary β Negotiable depending on experience
Generous holiday allowance 25 days + bank holidays
Shift premiums payable
