Our engineers design and build advanced platforms and infrastructure that power high-performance solutions, turning complex challenges into real-world results.

Our quantitative engineers, also known as research engineers, are the driving force behind our success. Working side-by-side with researchers at the cutting edge, they leverage near-infinite compute power to help us pursue our ultimate goal: predicting the future.

From machine learning and data engineering to high-performance computing and low-latency systems, our specialist teams build the foundations that turn ambitious ideas into reality.

Our infrastructure is built to handle and process extraordinary volumes of data every day – reliably, efficiently and at scale.

Driven by a mindset of automation and innovation, we explore everything from cloud technologies and scalable flash storage to grid computing and infrastructure as code. Whatever accelerates our teams’ most powerful ideas, infrastructure engineering makes possible.

Where compute meets scale

Over 13,000 dedicated GPUs

450,000+ CPU cores and 2,000 inference accelerators

We run over 50 million HPC and data science jobs daily

More than 30 megawatts of data centre capacity

Kafka clusters in production handle 90 billion events and messages per day

15 terabytes per second of storage throughput serving up 240+ petabytes of data

Systems we\’ve developed are used to collect and ingest 80 terabytes of log data per day
