G-QS Consulting provides commercial certainty for mission-critical assets. We work alongside specialist delivery partners operating in highly regulated, technically complex environments, supporting projects where quality, compliance, and precision are paramount.
Due to sustained project demand, we are seeking an experienced Contract Senior Quantity Surveyor to support live and upcoming works across clean, controlled, and mission-critical facilities.
Scope of Services
- End-to-end cost management from design through commissioning and close-out
- Commercial analysis of costs, contracts, and proposals
- Administration of change control, variations, and compensation events
- Preparation of CVRs, cost reports, and financial forecasts
- Support to procurement, tendering, and specialist subcontract negotiations
- Input to fee proposals and commercial submissions
- Management of final accounts and project close-out
- Compliance with governance, audit, and reporting requirements in regulated environments
Working Arrangements
This is a hybrid role and depending on your location to the sites/office an arrangement can be met where you will visit site/office 2 - 3 times per week. Sites and offices across the South, England.
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in Quantity Surveying / commercial management
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, data centre, or controlled environments
- Strong MEP and building services commercial capability, including specialist systems
- Experience with technically complex, commissioning-led, regulated projects
- Able to work autonomously while collaborating with engineers, PMs, and clients
- Background in specialist contractor, consultancy, or main contractor settings
- Operating comfortably at Senior QS / Associate QS level
Engagement Details
- Initial 6 month contract with opportunity to extend to 18 months
- Exposure to technically challenging, high-specification projects
