The hours for this role are 6am to 2pm Monday through to Thursday, and on Friday 6am to 1pm.

We are seeking two skilled Upholsterers to join our established and close-knit team of upholsterers.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in fast paced furniture manufacturing, as an upholsterer with an eye for detail and the ability to create upholstered furniture to high standards.

This role requires technical skills and the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing factory setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble furniture to the correct method set by Design and Development and to the correct Quality Standard Trained and documented by the company.
  • Work within the guidelines of the company's Health and Safety Policy.
  • Ensure all areas of Health and Safety are adhered to, and correct use of Eye and Ear protection, safety footwear at all times. (other forms of PPE are available such as dust masks/gloves if required).
  • Adhere to department housekeeping, ensuring all areas and workstations are kept tidy, safe and in full working order.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are kept tidy, safe and in full working order.
  • Ensure correct handling of product, as not to cause damage to product or oneself.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an upholsterer is essential.
  • Familiarity with factory environments and processes will be beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow design specifications accurately are crucial for success in this role.
  • Our upholsterers operate on a pay by result pay agreement and therefore the earning potential is exceptional in this role.
