Overview
We are working with a leading premium flexible workspace provider to hire a Senior Credit Controller into a growing finance team during a key transformation phase. This is not a “business as usual” credit control role. You’ll play a central part in shaping processes, driving automation, and supporting the evolution towards a more end-to-end Accounts Receivable function. You’ll also take on a leadership element, mentoring junior team members and acting as a key point of contact across the business.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage aged debt, including escalations and complex accounts
- Implement and improve automated dunning processes
- Oversee cash allocation, bank reconciliations, and resolution of unallocated cash
- Own and deliver regular reporting including credit balances and management agreement reviews
- Partner with internal stakeholders across operations and finance to resolve issues
- Support finance transformation initiatives, including automation and process improvements
- Maintain and improve process documentation and best practices
- Line manage and mentor junior team members
- Support month-end activities and wider finance tasks where required
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Senior Credit Control position within a high-volume environment
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience driving process improvements or automation (highly desirable)
- Background in multi-site businesses such as retail, hospitality, or property preferred
- Strong Excel skills; exposure to systems like SAP Business ByDesign or Salesforce advantageous
- Confident, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-changing environment
