A leading Investment Bank is seeking a highly motivated KYC Client Onboarding Analyst to join its growing Capital Markets business in Europe. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the build-out and management of the end-to-end onboarding (Transition) function across Capital Markets, focusing primarily on low-touch client onboarding for businesses in the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion a client-focused culture to deepen relationships and leverage the Bank's global network, systems, and expertise.
  • Work with the Client Chaperone and Prime Services Transition teams to build out an efficient onboarding process across CMF and FX products.
  • Independently manage the front-to-back onboarding of low-touch clients (banks, brokers, and cash counterparties), liaising with business units, Credit, KYC, Legal, and Operations teams to facilitate go-lives.
  • Prioritise and manage the onboarding pipeline to optimise resource use and ensure efficient client activation.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for low-touch clients throughout the relationship lifecycle, managing onboarding items pre- and post-go-live.
  • Provide regular updates to Sales Desks, Desk Heads, and Business Managers.
  • Manage projects from a business perspective, including regulatory initiatives, client refreshes, and remediation.
  • Maintain high standards of operational risk management, regulatory compliance, and adherence to internal policies.
  • Foster a high-performance, inclusive work environment aligned with the Bank's values and strategy.

Client Relations Focus:

  • Ensure a smooth and client-centric onboarding experience by coordinating all onboarding elements — Credit, KYC, Legal, and Operational Set-Up — with minimal client disruption.

Key Partnerships:

  • Collaborate closely with Capital Markets Sales Desks and senior stakeholders to manage onboarding priorities and drive efficiencies.
  • Act as a key liaison between business units and operational teams while remaining distinct from daily KYC onboarding team activities.

Requirements:

  • 3 years experience in the finance industry with a strong interest in financial markets.
  • Solid background in Capital Markets with working knowledge of FICC, Equities, Prime Services, and client onboarding processes.
  • Understanding of derivatives products and applicable regulations.
  • Proven client focus and extensive experience in client-facing roles.
