We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join a small and supportive engineering team within the energy sector. This is a full-time, permanent role offering long-term career progression, ongoing training, and the opportunity to get involved in a variety of projects. The role will involve maintenance, fault finding, repair, and overhaul of electrical and mechanical equipment across operational sites. There will also be opportunities to develop mechanical skills alongside your electrical experience.

Key Duties:

  • Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs
  • Fault finding and diagnosing equipment issues
  • Working on motors, pumps, fans, compressors, and other plant equipment
  • Completing maintenance records and digital work orders
  • Taking part in callout and overtime work when required
  • Working safely at height and in confined spaces

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience within an industrial or plant environment
  • Good fault-finding and repair skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team

Desirable Experience:

  • SCADA or BMS systems
  • Fire protection systems
  • Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP)
  • Maintenance management systems
