We are looking for an experienced and strategic Assistant Director of Transformation to lead and deliver large-scale change across our clients organisation. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for shaping, governing and delivering transformation programmes that support strategic objectives and improve organisational performance. You will lead the Transformation function, providing expert oversight of project and programme delivery, business change, governance and benefits realisation. Working closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders, you will ensure that change initiatives are well-designed, well-governed and successfully embedded.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the organisation’s transformation agenda, identifying opportunities for improvement and translating them into deliverable change initiatives.
- Establish and maintain a robust business change and project delivery framework, ensuring best practice across the organisation.
- Provide strategic advice and thought leadership on transformation, business change, PMO and process improvement.
- Oversee the successful delivery of complex projects and programmes, ensuring they are delivered to scope, time and budget.
- Lead and develop a high-performing Transformation team, including project management, business analysis and PMO resources.
- Manage the Transformation budget, including forecasting and reporting.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, influencing at all levels to ensure effective adoption of change.
What we’re looking for
- Demonstrable experience leading a transformation function, including a Project Management Office.
- Significant experience operating at a senior level, advising executive teams on transformation and change.
- A strong track record of delivering complex projects, programmes and organisational change.
- Extensive experience in portfolio management, governance and executive-level reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
- Strong commercial awareness, including budget management and value-for-money decision making.
Package Details
- An annual salary of £82,000.
- Annual Leave - 28 days per year, (plus bank holidays) increasing to 32 days when you reach your 3rd year.
- Pension – between 7% - 12% dependant on individual contribution.
