We're looking for two Neighbourhood Officers to join a busy housing team, looking after a patch of properties across Salford.
This is a varied, field-based role where you'll spend time visiting residents, managing your own workload and working from home. You'll play an important part in supporting residents, dealing with housing issues and helping to create safe and well-managed communities.
What will you be doing?

- Dealing with anti-social behaviour (ASB), rent queries, repairs, lettings and property exchanges.
- Carrying out property visits and viewings.
- Supporting residents with tenancy issues and providing advice and guidance.
- Handling complaints and challenging situations in a professional and understanding way.
- Working with local partners and other organisations to support residents.
- Making sure properties and gardens are being maintained to the required standards.
- Managing your own diary and prioritising your workload.
What are we looking for?
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
- Experience in housing, lettings or ideally social housing.
- Good customer service skills, both face-to-face and over the phone.
- Experience dealing with difficult or sensitive situations.
- The ability to communicate with people from different backgrounds.
- Good organisation skills and the ability to manage a busy workload.
- A confident, practical and solution-focused approach.
- Someone who enjoys working independently and as part of a team.
What's on offer?
- Temporary ongoing contract.
- Permanent opportunities expected to become available soon.
- A mixture of home working, community visits and office days.
- The opportunity to make a real difference to residents and their communities.
