Role Overview

  • Play a key role in reconciling multiple bank accounts (typically 26+), including petty cash, and minimising suspense account transactions to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Support the timely reconciliation of receipts and payments, contributing to monthly bank reconciliations and assisting with Accounts Receivable processing as needed.
  • Help meet team objectives and KPIs, delivering reconciliations to tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal colleagues (e.g., budget holders, rents, homeowners, accounts payable, and maintenance teams) and external partners, including banks.
  • Operate in line with organisational values, escalating issues promptly to senior team members.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, regulatory, and governance requirements in your areas of responsibility.
  • Maintain relevant records and systems, while managing associated risks.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years' experience in end-to-end bank reconciliation and accounts receivable processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and diligence; able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good customer service and communication skills for dealing with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Organised and able to manage your own workload effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams; experience with UNIT4 (or similar ERP/finance systems) is highly desirable.
