We're working with a leading housing association in Bristol who are looking to bring in a skilled Tree Surgeon to support the maintenance and safety of their residential green spaces. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality arboriculture work across a variety of sites, ensuring trees and landscapes are safe, healthy, and well-maintained for residents. You'll be joining a team that takes real pride in their work and plays a key role in improving communities.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out tree pruning, felling, and general maintenance to industry standards
  • Operate arboriculture equipment including chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders
  • Assess tree health and identify risks or disease
  • Respond to emergency call-outs (e.g. storm damage) when required
  • Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with health & safety regulations
  • Maintain clean and safe working environments, including full site clear-up
  • Work closely with colleagues and communicate effectively with residents
  • Support delivery of high-quality, customer-focused services

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Tree Surgeon / Arborist
  • Experience using arboriculture tools and machinery safely
  • Good knowledge of tree species, maintenance, and disease identification
  • Strong understanding of health & safety practices
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Positive, reliable, and safety-focused attitude
