We have a great opportunity for a Principal Network Engineer, who can Think, Drive, Support, Coordinate and Deliver. Reporting to the Network Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the design, maintenance and expansion of the network. You’ll be a technical expert and understand the workings of our carrier grade network and capable of acting as a final point of escalation for the most complex faults.

You’ll need to be equally comfortable working individually, or managing a small team, whilst comfortable and able to deliver projects from start to finish. As a predominantly project focused team role, you’ll own your assigned project lifecycle, from scoping right through delivery and optimisation, either independently, or as a team lead.

You must have CCIE certification as well as:

  • Proven experience as a senior network engineer in an ISP environment
  • Expert knowledge & demonstrable experience of carrier grade technologies like BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, Segment routing
  • Strong experience in designing Internet Peering and Transit strategies
  • Strong and demonstrable network design experience
  • Exposure to access network technologies like GPON & XGS-PON
