We’re seeking a talented Human Resources Advisor to join our HR team on a 6 month FTC in London. You will work closely with our people to support the delivery of key objectives in the context of the people agenda. Working in partnership with the business, the Senior HR Advisor will combine an understanding of the organisation and its context with HR expertise, in order to tailor business solutions and develop effective interventions, to meet organisational needs, now and in the future.
You will provide commercially focused and pragmatic solutions for all employment related matters, influencing the development and delivery of the people strategy, ensuring people plans and activities are integrated consistently and coaching managers to foster positive working relationships with employees.
As Senior HR Advisor your responsibilities will include among others:
- Advise and coach managers through a range of employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance, and capability matters including managing occupational health referrals.
- Take ownership of the employee lifecycle managing offers, contracts and documentation.
- Support the effective implementation of change management initiatives, including medium to large acquisitions and business transformation projects, minimising ER impacts.
- Understand and apply the company’s approach to compensation; manage the compensation review and benchmarking activities for the business.
- Design and deliver Management Information (MI), interpret results to identify trends which translate to HR initiatives, present and interpret data to senior management.
- Take an active role in recruitment and talent management, working with hiring managers on shortlisting and the overall employee journey, ensuring an exceptional end to end recruitment and on-boarding experience for new hires.
- Work closely with Finance to track and manage headcount budget.
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Have in depth knowledge of UK employment law and experience in resolving people related issues, with an understanding of the regulatory framework affecting G.Networks' people strategy.
- Have a good knowledge of all aspects of an employment lifecycle and the drive to be hands on across the process.
- Be resilient, with an ability to work at pace and deliver against established personal and team targets.
- Be highly articulate with excellent written and verbal skills and strong analytical skills.
- Be CIPD qualified or equivalent experience.
