G MASS is supporting a global brokerage firm undertaking a major front-to-back trading platform transformation. As part of a wholesale implementation of Calypso, we are looking for an experienced Calypso Configuration Consultant to join the programme and support the configuration, build and validation of the platform across multiple asset classes. This role will sit within a large-scale delivery programme and work closely with internal technology teams, business operations, and the platform vendor to ensure the platform is configured correctly to support OTC derivatives and cross-asset trading workflows. The position requires a hands-on specialist who understands both the functional architecture of Calypso and the operational processes that sit around the trade lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Configure the Calypso platform to support OTC derivatives and cross-asset trading workflows
- Work closely with vendor teams and internal technology teams on environment setup and configuration design
- Translate business and operational requirements into functional platform configuration
- Support the definition of system specifications and configuration documentation
- Design and support test scenarios covering trade lifecycle, settlement, and risk processes
- Validate platform behaviour through system and integration testing
- Collaborate with operations, technology and programme stakeholders to ensure platform alignment with target operating model
- Support deployment activities and provide configuration expertise throughout implementation phases
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience configuring Calypso within trading environments
- Deep understanding of OTC derivatives processing
- Strong knowledge of the full trade lifecycle including confirmation, settlement and post-trade operations
- Experience integrating Calypso with risk, valuation and reporting frameworks
- Proven experience supporting system specification, testing and implementation phases
- Comfortable working directly with technology vendors and internal engineering teams
- Strong ability to bridge business operations and technology delivery teams
6-month rolling contract. Salary / rate to be discussed.
