G MASS are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to lead the automation of static data processes across a global bank's settlements and operations infrastructure. This is a hands‑on, 12‑month contract role within an established Capital Markets technology programme, driven by T+1 compliance requirements. The successful candidate will bring investment banking technology experience, deep understanding of static data workflows, and the credibility to operate across front‑to‑back operations teams and senior stakeholders.

You'll be joining a programme with real strategic weight – automating manual static data processes that currently span counterparty creation, SSI management, instrument data, rates, and pricing, with the goal of materially improving STP rates and removing a key bottleneck ahead of T+1 go‑live.

The Role

Working within a cross‑functional team across London and Toronto, the consultant will be responsible for analysing and automating the full lifecycle of static data operations. Key areas of focus include:

  • Counterparty creation and KYC‑linked fund onboarding, currently handled manually
  • SSI management and automation via DTCC Alert and SSI Simple
  • Integration of the central security master with Broadridge Gloss, improving on the current 50–60% STP rate
  • Instrument data management via Bloomberg feeds
  • Rates, indexes, and pricing data workflows
  • Functional requirements capture and testing coordination, including with Broadridge where applicable

There is no development requirement in this role. The consultant will work closely with the middle office, settlements, and the static data team (based in Toronto), as well as Broadridge where engaged.

Requirements

  • Investment banking technology background, ideally within operations or static data
  • Strong technical BA skill set – requirements gathering, process mapping, functional testing
  • Hands‑on experience with Broadridge Gloss and PPS
  • Familiarity with DTCC Alert and SSI Simple
  • Understanding of static data domains: counterparties, SSIs, instruments, rates, indexes, and pricing
  • Comfortable working with Excel and JSON formats
  • Excellent communicator with proven stakeholder management across geographically dispersed teams
  • Pirum experience advantageous

Benefits

  • Duration: 12 months
  • Rate: £70-80k
  • Location: London
