We are working with a leading global financial services firm to hire an experienced Prime Brokerage Onboarding professional to support a fast-growing business unit in London. This is a hands-on, client-facing contract role, responsible for coordinating the end-to-end onboarding of new Prime clients while providing additional client service support once accounts are live.
Responsibilities
- Own and coordinate the full front-to-back Prime onboarding process for new clients
- Act as the single point of contact for clients throughout onboarding
- Work closely with internal teams across Risk, Legal, Compliance, CDD/KYC, Operations, Trading and Technology
- Identify and manage onboarding risks across credit, market, operational and regulatory areas
- Support day-to-day Prime client service activities, including margin, cash balances, reporting and lifecycle events
- Build strong internal and external relationships to ensure timely, high-quality client delivery
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience within Prime Brokerage, with direct client exposure
- Strong understanding of Prime products and operations, including front-to-back trade flows
- Experience onboarding hedge funds, asset managers or similar institutional clients
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong risk awareness and attention to detail
- Commercially aware with the ability to communicate clearly with clients
- Comfortable operating in a matrix environment and coordinating multiple stakeholders
