Lead the delivery of the Outwards Reinsurance project within the Change function, ensuring adherence to governance standards, clear scope control and effective stakeholder management. The role will coordinate key workstreams, manage risk and issues, and ensure high-quality outputs are delivered in line with agreed objectives.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day project management of the Outwards Reinsurance initiative, operating within established change governance, methodologies and standards.
- Manage the RI Order Form enhancements workstream, coordinating activities, dependencies and hand-offs across teams.
- Align project objectives across stakeholder groups, building a shared understanding of scope, priorities and success measures.
- Monitor and control project scope, schedule and quality, ensuring deliverables meet agreed requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain and govern RAID logs, recommending appropriate risk assessment and mitigation approaches based on business needs.
- Keep the change stakeholder register up to date and lead stakeholder communication planning, feedback channels and expectation management.
- Complete required Change Framework documentation and produce timely monthly status reports and other governance artefacts.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of project resources where required, ensuring the right skills and capacity are in place.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering change in insurance or financial services, ideally within reinsurance or finance/operations domains.
- Strong command of project management disciplines including planning, governance, RAID management and reporting.
- Demonstrable stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently across business, change and technology functions.
- Comfortable working with structured change frameworks and PMO standards, producing clear, concise documentation.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
