We are looking for an experienced and motivated Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our expanding team, working across a diverse portfolio of commercial and domestic properties throughout Cornwall and the surrounding areas. Our clients include schools, industrial facilities, factories, hotels, holiday parks, holiday letting companies, and private residential customers. No two days are the same, offering a varied workload and opportunities to develop your skills across a wide range of systems and environments.

The Role

  • Servicing and maintenance of gas and oil heating systems
  • Diagnosing and repairing gas and oil boiler breakdowns
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Undertaking reactive repairs and fault finding
  • General plumbing and heating installation work as required
  • Completing job reports and certification accurately
  • Delivering excellent customer service while representing the company professionally

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Current Gas Safe qualifications
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Proven experience within a plumbing and heating role
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Desirable

  • OFTEC qualifications
  • Experience working within commercial environments
  • Unvented hot water certification

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 07:30 – 16:30 (including breaks)
  • Overtime opportunities available and paid at enhanced rates
