We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Sales Assistant to provide support to the pharmacy team and assist customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised and has excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist customers and process sales
- Deal with orders, stock control and rotation
- Assist the Pharmacist in their duties using the equipment provided
- Take in and hand out prescriptions
- Ensure that all work areas are kept in a clean and tidy state
- Observe confidentiality at all times
Hours
- Mondays and Tuesdays: 9am to 5.30pm
- Fridays: 9am to 2pm
- 1:4 Saturdays: 9am to 1pm
Person Specification / Experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Pharmacy experience desirable but not essential
- Medicine Counter Assistant qualification or willing to work towards
- Adaptable with ability to deal with conflicting demands
- Ability to work in a team
- Good at problem solving
- Passion for delivering great healthcare advice in a local community
