About the Role
An outstanding Lloyd’s Broker are looking to hire a Broker Support with experience in International Property. The role will have full Broker Back Up responsibilities, including close client and underwriter liaison, coordinating placement of risks, including production of MRC documentation to assist placement and maintenance throughout the risk life cycle (Underwriting Submissions, Market Reform Contracts, Wordings, Endorsements).
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing market submissions and placing documentation including MRC’s and endorsements
- Maintaining clear, accurate and comprehensive files reflecting the transactions undertaken on behalf of clients
- Inviting and monitoring renewal instructions
- Logging of all quotes and enquiries
- Daily monitoring with other teams to monitor bad debt, cash and funding
- Bordereaux monitoring for current binders and lineslips
- Assisting with “know your client” due diligence procedures
- Assisting with binding submissions via PPL/Whitespace
- Deal with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and other third parties
- Monitor the timeliness of the placement process to ensure Contract Certainty is achieved, and timely invoicing is achieved
- Assisting with the production of taxation schedules for Global Programs
- Providing support to the producers/brokers within the Division
Key Skills & Experience
The client is seeking someone who has worked within a similar role within Property and who has experience of producing MRC documentation and the placement of risks. You should be organised, reliable and have a collaborative working approach. You should be able to work with colleagues at all levels and be able to train and educate more junior team members. You should be accurate, attentive to detail and have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work towards and meet deadlines, whilst multitasking and prioritising your workload.
