Working Pattern: Full Time Hybrid - 3 days in the office during probation and 1 – 2 days thereafter (or as required by the team/business)

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading specialty and niche Lloyd’s insurance and reinsurance broker that provides tailor-made solutions to both UK and international clients, covering all areas of insurance, binding authorities, and reinsurance. They currently have an opportunity for an Account Executive with experience in Employee Benefits business, ideally across travel, PA, and/or PMI.

This is an Account Executive-level role, working closely with the Team Leader. They are seeking someone with the drive and energy to manage multiple accounts, identify new business opportunities, and demonstrate a strong ability to understand client needs and negotiate effectively.

The role will focus on key client relationship management, maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients across renewals and new business. This position offers excellent career development and progression within a well-established team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients and consultants
  • Develop new business opportunities with clients and consultants
  • Preparation of presentations, tenders and quotations
  • Prepare client documentation for internal approval typically under Binding Authorities and issuance to client
  • Provide client support during full risk cycle
  • Produce reports and review MI to monitor client’s growth and overall performance
  • Communicate with Insurers and third party suppliers such as claims handlers and assistance companies
  • Preparation of renewal presentations
  • Host virtual benefit fairs and webinars and attend benefit fairs when required
  • Develop market presence and possible new market opportunities
  • Attend conferences, events and networking opportunities
  • Keep abreast of competitor and market trends

Key Skills & Experience

Our client is seeking someone with experience within a similar role who has an understanding of Personal Lines Insurance, preferably including Employee Benefits, Travel and Personal Accident. You should be customer service focused with strong influencing and negotiation skills, and high levels of commercial acumen. You should have a high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to build successful, mutually beneficial business relationships.
