Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef Manager to lead kitchen operations and deliver high-quality food services. The role involves menu planning, food preparation, team leadership, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day kitchen operations and food service delivery

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver nutritious, high-quality meals

  • Lead, supervise, and train kitchen staff

  • Develop menus in line with dietary requirements and allergens

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations

  • Manage stock control, ordering, and cost management

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation

  • Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction

Essential Requirements

  • Literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to at least GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths

  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate

  • City & Guilds 706 Level 1/2 or NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery
