Job Title: Chef Job Type: [Full-time/Part-time] Reports to: Care Home Manager / Head Chef Job Summary: We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Chef to join our care home team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for preparing nutritious, home-style meals tailored to meet the individual dietary needs of our residents. Youll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through food that is both delicious and nutritious. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and cook meals and snacks in accordance with residents dietary requirements, preferences, and nutritional guidelines. Ensure meals are presented in an appetizing and dignified manner, including texture-modified diets where required. Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment in line with food safety standards (HACCP or equivalent). Monitor and manage kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing food waste. Work collaboratively with care staff to understand individual resident needs, including allergies and medical conditions.
